Thrift Stores Are Great Places To Find Inexpensive Exercise Equipment

Okay, so the rollerblades I found are a little too big, but they’ll work until I come across a pair that fit perfectly.
When I started the 75 Hard program, I didn’t have any exercise equipment at all, except for my yoga mat. My husband has some weights out in the garage, but they are too heavy for me. I decided ahead of time that my workouts would be walking and doing yoga. I love Yoga With Adriene. Her videos are free on YouTube.
My walks started getting longer and longer, until I’d worked up to 5.5 miles a day. I’ve always loved walking, and the neighborhoods surrounding the nearby golf course are nice.
I also love doing yoga, but after a while, I decided I should branch out and try some cardio and maybe some light weight training for my arms.
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on new equipment that I might not use, so I started browsing through the thrift stores.

So far, I’ve found 1, 2, 5, and 12 pound weights from the thrift stores. They work great (one set doesn’t quite match but I don’t mind at all) and they were cheap. The pair of one pound weights cost $1.50.

I’ve found some fun rebounder cardio workouts for free on YouTube and I can use it in the spare bedroom or carry it outside if I need a different kind of outdoor workout.
The only thing I need to watch out for in the spare bedroom is the ceiling fan. Yes, I learned the hard way, and thankfully I don’t use the fan so it wasn’t going when I hit it with…
