I don’t get why people don’t understand this.

Don’t tell other dog owners ‘it’s okay, my dog is friendly’ when your dog approaches another dog. It’s not okay because not all dogs are friendly and not all react well when another approaches uncontrolled. Is your friendly dog going to remain friendly when it approaches a dog that snaps and growls at it?…

I don’t get why people don’t understand this. Also, even if the off-leash dog is friendly, the leashed dog might not be.
